石川県一の観光名所で日本三名園の一つに挙げられる、百万石前田家の庭園として造られた兼六園。春には桜、夏には青々とした木々、秋には紅葉、冬には雪吊りや梅苑の紅梅白梅など四季折々の自然と、築庭の妙が織りなす景観は、屈指の美しさと雄大さを生み出す、まさに癒しの庭園です。その美しさから、どの角度からでも写真映えが良く多くの観光客からの人気を集めています。兼六園周辺には多くのお菓子どころやお茶屋、金箔のソフトクリームなど甘味を楽しみながら庭園を眺めることもできます。

Originally built as the private garden of the Maeda Family, who were once the feudal lords of this city, Kenrokuen is known today as one of Japan’s three finest gardens, and is one of Ishikawa’s top destinations. The garden features spectacular seasonal beauty all year round: enjoy cherry blossoms in spring, the rich greenery of summer, the brilliant colors of autumn, and the yukizuri rope supports and plum blossoms in winter. With its incredibly photogenic scenery, Kenrokuen Garden is a popular destination for tourists, and there are a number of places in the garden where visitors can stop in to enjoy some sweets, tea, or gold leaf ice cream while gazing at the beautiful view.
